If you are a homeowners association, landlord or mortgage lender, know that  Kansas has a stay on evictions and foreclosures. There is an exception. If you can prove that the foreclosure or the eviction was not due to a financial hardship resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.  However, there is no universal standard by judges in Kansas on how this is proved. In other words, its decided case-by-case.
