Jason Booker 

Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships and Broadcast Sales @Kansas City Royals

Jason Booker serves as the Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships and Broadcast Sales for the Royals and has worked in Sports Marketing for the past 23 years. In his role he oversees the day to day functions of the corporate partnership sales and activation teams, as well as the Royals Radio Network and affiliate sales. He has served in this role since August of 2014. Prior to joining the Royals Jason served as the Executive Director and General Manager for Jayhawk IMG Sports Marketing. Jason received his undergraduate degree in Sports Management from the University of Kansas and his Master's in Sports Administration from Wichita State University. Jason currently serves on the Kansas City Alumni Association Board for the University of Kansas, the Board of Directors for the University of Kansas Sports Management program as well as the Kansas City Sports Commission Board of Directors. Jason and his wife Susan, also a Kansas graduate, live in Olathe, Kansas with their daughter Ava.

       

Toby Cook 

Vice President - Publicity @Kansas City Royals

Toby Cook is in his 14th season with the Royals and serves as the team’s Vice President of Publicity.  A veteran of broadcast journalism, Cook is a main spokesperson for the Club’s off-the-field matters. He also serves an integral role in Royals FanFest and other special events.  Cook previously served as Vice President of Community Affairs & Publicity and oversaw the team’s community and charity initiatives.  During that time, the Royals added a series of successful charity events, distributing millions of dollars in grants, tickets and memorabilia to the community. Prior to joining the Royals, Cook spent 15 years as a news anchor and reporter at four television stations, including WDAF-TV in Kansas City.  He has also reported for several radio stations and newspapers. Cook is a graduate and Outstanding Alumnus Award winner from Pittsburg (Kan.) State University. He and his wife, Barbara, live in Overland Park, Kan., and have five children: Adam, Molly, Annie, Andrew and Caroline.
